Gear for the Future of Fishing

Over the last couple of years, Reffe has been donating Mono Runningline sold at Laksens Hus
at the Skjern River in Denmark.
Reffe has also asked others to donate; all this has generated enough Salmon Smolt, so in 2026, we released +10.000 Salmon Smolt into the Skjern River.
ALL donations can make a difference.
Reffe Mono Runningline is becoming
increasingly popular as time passes.
We believe it's because we did our homework
before setting it into production, resulting
in a Mono, most likely due to features like
- Smooth in your hand
- Low memory
- Neon Colors
- High Quality
We have tried our best to make our color
code system easy to understand and make
more sense compared to others.
Our system covers densities for our flylines
and Tips, our Tips even have a Color sleeve
to mark lengths. We also make all lines with
text, so it's easy to see the line info on each line.
We are always in the works with more new
products for you to enjoy while flyfishing.
At Reffe, we try to design new products that
can make your fishing easier, so you can enjoy
your fishing a little more.
In 2026, we have quite a lot of new products on
the way and hope they will be well received.

I have been using Reffe Shooting Lines and also the Reffe Short Cut Shooting Heads quite a lot in recent years. I think the shooting line is the right balance between being soft and smooth, but also the right stiffness to avoid coiling. This is also a shooting line with very little line memory. Also, a very affordable line, and all in all one of the best buys in the market.
The Shortcut Heads is also very easy for beginners to deal with. They also perform very well in tight spots and riverbanks where there might be less space for backcast. And they also have the right powerful taper to carry heavy sinking polytips and big flies. I do work as a fly fishing guide and also a casting instructor,
And I will recommend these lines.

I have been a strong supporter of mono running lines for many years and have tested a wide range of products on the market. Reffe's Mono Running Line stands out from the competition for several reasons. First of all, the spool contains 50 meters of line, allowing you to cut off the outer section if wear, damage, or memory should occur. With this line, however, that is only necessary in extreme cases. After just a few minutes in the water, the line becomes soft and exceptionally pleasant to fish with, while still maintaining enough stiffness and resilience to handle high line speeds without tangling or collapsing in the rod guides. The fact that Reffe also donates a significant portion of the proceeds to salmon restoration and stocking efforts in the Skjern River makes the choice even easier. In my opinion, this is the best mono running line on the market when considering price, quality, and contribution to a great cause.

My home rivers are GFF at River Gaula, Norway, and the Skjern River, Denmark. I’ve been fishing with Reffe Mono for about five years now, mostly with 45 lb and 50 lb. I’ve tried many other mono running lines, but I always end up coming back to Reffe Mono - Today, I don’t use anything else.
What I especially like is how Reffe Mono feels in the hand, how smooth it is and the oval shape. I also got more distance, and the mono has just the right amount of elasticity. If it starts to develop a bit of memory, I simply hook the end onto a door handle or something similar and stretch it out; most memory
can be fixed this way. This makes the mono last much longer and saves me both money and headaches.
I can strongly recommend giving Reffe Mono a try.
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
